I have 1000 Salesforce users. Do I have to buy licenses for all of them?
No, you can buy licenses for only the users who will be using Powerplay
Is my data secure or at risk in any way?
Yes it’s secure, and no, it is not at risk in any way. All your data is stored on Salesforce.com’s servers and subject to their security measures. Our app runs in your web browser. The only communication with our servers involves validating that you are indeed one of our customers (or on a free trial).
What do I do if I need support?
You can contact us from directly within the app (convenient) or if you need answers right away, just call us at 415.689.1200. We’re really nice guys and happy to help.
What if I need a feature that you don’t currently offer?
Depending on the feature, we can likely create it for you and include it in the license costs. Just ask us.
How do updates work?
An e-mail is sent periodically to the account administrator with a link to the update. All updates are optional (Some people prefer sticking with older versions for various reasons).
What are the system requirements? Is this a native app or does it run in my browser?
Powerplay runs in your browser, right inside a Salesforce tab.
You’ll need a reasonably modern machine (purchased within the last 3 years or so). You’ll need Flash installed and can use Internet Explrorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or Safari with Windows, Mac, or Linux.
Does this work on mobile or tablets?
No, the form factor really wouldn’t work well. Powerplay is meant for people who prefer a keyboard and a mouse and need to get a lot done quickly.
